  • Manufacturing PMI eased slightly to 52.6 in May
  • The services PMI rose to 54.7 in May, consistent with a sharper pace of expansion
  • Retail sales were up by 0.9% in the three months to April
  • Housing commencements 12 month running total back at 41k in May
  • House price annual inflation slowed to +7.5% in April
  • CPI inflation rate eased to 1.7% in May. HICP rate declined to 1.4% also  
  • Goods export rose by 51.3% YTD in April, led by a sharp increase in pharma exports (+117%) 
  • 12 month rolling Exchequer surplus narrowed to €16.0bn in May
