New orders return to growth at end of 2025
The AIB Irish Construction PMI survey for December showed a further fall in building activity levels at the end of 2025. The headline index was below the key break even level of 50 for an eighth consecutive month. However, the December reading of 48.4 represented an improvement compared to 46.7 in November, implying a less severe pace of contraction heading into the New Year.
