The AIB Irish Services PMI for September shows continued growth in the sector, albeit the headline index eased to 54.1 from 55.4 in August. Activity levels were boosted by existing and new business, alongside renewed gains in employment. The rate of growth in the Irish services sector was ahead of the flash Eurozone and UK PMIs at 53.0 and 51.7, respectively; but below the US PMI at 58.7.
